Our address is The Old Courthouse, Blackwall, Halifax, HX1 2DL

We’re not far from Victoria Theatre. We’re the other side of town to The Piece Hall/Square Chapel. There is a big Lloyds Bank Head Office building on the main road and we are just behind there.

If you’re coming from the M62 Junction at Ainley Top roundabout, take the second exit on the roundabout (Huddersfield Road A629.) Follow the road all the way towards Halifax Town Centre. When you see the Esso garage on your right, you will then see the large Lloyds (Halifax) Bank Head Office on the left. Immediately before the lights with Lloyds on your left, turn left up the one way street. You will then quickly get to a crossroads. Go straight across and our entrance is immediately on your right. If you miss the turning keep going on the same road, it will bend round to the left and you can turn left before Mccafferty’s Irish Pub.

If you are coming from Bull Green roundabout, head towards Victoria Theatre. As soon as you see McCafferty’s bar on your right, you can make a right turn on to Harrison Road. Go across the crossroads. At the next crossroads turn right and our main entrance is there.

Our entrance is signposted with purple Calderdale Music signs. We are next door to Calderdale Home Care.

Parking near The Old Courthouse

There is on street pay and display parking, maximum 4hrs. You can download the Apcoa Connect app in advance of your visit, and pay for parking by card. This also stores your receipts. Traffic wardens patrol often, including during the evenings and weekends.

We recommend you park in the multistorey up the road from us and walk down if you can. This is cheaper than parking on the road, and you can park there for longer.
