Carly took an early interest in music, playing clarinet, saxophone and piano whilst at primary school. Whilst studying for her A-levels Carly started teaching woodwind to younger pupils of the school and this is where her love of teaching began. Gaining two Grade VIIIs and an A at A-Level Music, Carly went onto study music at Leeds College of Music graduating with an Honours Degree. Carly joined Calderdale Music Trust (formerly Calderdale Music Service) as a music teacher in 2007. Carly teaches Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute and Keyboard. She enjoys teaching a diverse range of lessons from whole class to individual, from beginner to advanced standard.
