Meg began flute lessons at the age of 8 and later took up the saxophone in secondary school. During her school years, she enjoyed playing in ensembles with Bradford Music and Arts Service, which sparked a lifelong love of music, performing and playing with others. She then went on to study at the University of Huddersfield, graduating in 2020 with a 1st class music degree and a diploma in saxophone performance.
Throughout her musical journey, Meg has had incredible opportunities to travel the world, performing solo flute in China, and flute/saxophone across Europe as a member of The Band of the Royal Yorkshire Regiment.
When not teaching, Meg enjoys watching and performing in musical theatre shows, and playing her saxophone with the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra.
