At Bowling Green Academy, Calderdale Music provides an engaging programme of music education that gives pupils the chance to explore their creativity and develop new skills. Our tutor, Mitchell Wright, delivers both curriculum music and classroom instrumental learning during Wednesday afternoons, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience high-quality, enjoyable music-making as part of their school week.
In addition to curriculum learning, Mitchell also runs an after school choir, offering pupils the chance to sing together in a fun and supportive group environment. Registration for choir is managed directly through the school.
Alongside these opportunities, pupils can also access individual, paired, or small-group lessons on a range of instruments, taught by our skilled Calderdale Music tutor. To register for lessons, please visit the Instruments page and find the registration button for your chosen instrument.
