Support to schools

The DfE have now published a “Model Music Curriculum”. This is a non-statutory curriculum that exhibits the level of ambition schools should be aiming for in their delivery of music. Calderdale Music are developing our offer to schools to include CPD and networking opportunities. All such events will support schools to strive for the same level of ambition as set out in the Ofsted Inspection Framework and we will be drawing upon the “MMC” in all our future CPD sessions. As your designated Music Education Hub we also offer a free consultancy session as part of our School Music Education Plan.
