The Calderdale Choir competition is a celebration of singing across schools in the local area and we would like to invite a choir from your school to take part!

Date: Wednesday 30th April 2025
Venue: Halifax Minster
Times: Morning session 9am – 12pm, afternoon session 1pm – 2:45pm
Costs: No cost to take part other than your own transport costs to get to Halifax Minster.
Times: Each choir takes part in the morning session or the afternoon session.

To take part in the event, please download and read the files above, then click “Book tickets” below and fill in your details. Choose 1 ticket only. Please complete one booking per choir. The deadline to submit your application is Friday 14th February 2025, however please note that spaces are first come first served. Some details e.g. song choice, can be confirmed at a later date if needed.
Schools will receive confirmation of their place by Monday 24th February.
After the closing date, schools will be contacted with a confirmation email and provided with further details including risk assessment, programme, seating plan etc.
If you need a backing track for your performance, a digital copy of this will need sending to Calderdale Music as an MP3 file before Wednesday 16th April 2025.
