At Bradshaw Primary School, Calderdale Music provides a rich and inspiring programme of music education for all pupils. Our experienced tutors, Meiko Wakabayashi and Meg Broadley, deliver both class-based and individualised learning opportunities that nurture creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
As part of the school curriculum, Year 4 pupils enjoy whole-class flute lessons with Meg, giving every child the chance to develop their musical skills and experience the joy of playing an instrument together. In addition, Meg runs a lively “Breaktime Band” for woodwind players, open to children who want to extend their music-making in a fun and supportive group environment. Registration for Breaktime Band is managed directly through the school.
Alongside these class-based and ensemble opportunities, pupils can also access individual, paired, or small-group lessons in piano, violin, flute, clarinet, and saxophone, delivered by our skilled Calderdale Music tutors. To register for lessons, please visit the Instruments page and find the registration button for your chosen instrument.
Through this wide-ranging offer, Calderdale Music is proud to support Bradshaw Primary School in providing an inclusive and high-quality music education for all its pupils.
