At Lightcliffe CE Primary, Calderdale Music provides a rich and engaging programme of music education, helping pupils to develop their creativity, confidence, and musical skills. Our tutors, Luke Bradley, Richard Quarmby, Meiko Wakabayashi, Verity Quarmby, and Matt Thompstone, deliver both curriculum and individualised learning opportunities tailored to each child’s interests and ability.
As part of the school curriculum, Verity Quarmby teaches classroom flute to Year 4 pupils on Friday mornings, giving every child the chance to explore their musical skills in a group setting.
Pupils can also access individual, paired, or small-group lessons in guitar, piano, violin, singing, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and drums, delivered by our skilled Calderdale Music tutors.
